From a series of photos capturing the social topography, architecture and geography of Rio de Janeiro in the 1950's and 1960's. Milan's work is a photojournalistic chronicle of glamour, style, urban-chic and the modernization of aspirations in the environment of Rio de Janeiro's more economically viable inhabitants. The beauty of the chosen subject matter, combined with the sophistication of Milan's eye, result in a heady and evocative portrait of these times.
